# Light Sensor Mounting Hardware Installation

## Information

These are the instructions for installing the light sensor mounting hardware for the 6X Series Sensors onto a Freefly Alta X Gen 2.

### Assemble Mast 

Line up the mast pole and top plate. Both parts have a notch next to the screw holes. Ensure that the notches are facing each other and aligned to correctly assemble the mast.

Align the Mast Pole and Top Plate

Use the two screws to attach the mast pole and top plate.&#x20;

Ensure a proper fit has been achieved with the screws. Once the light sensor mounting plate has been install you will not be able to adjust the screws.

### Install Cable Clip Onto Mast&#x20;

First, identify the correct mounting location for the cable clip. The mounting location is on the  flat square at the base of the mast.&#x20;

Then attach the cable clip, using its adhesive.&#x20;

### Install Mounting Tray Onto Mast&#x20;

Clean the top of the mast with the included alcohol wipe.&#x20;

Attach the mounting tray to the mast using the attached adhesive tape.

### Install Mast Assembly Onto Aircraft&#x20;

Orient the mast as shown below. Install the mast in the **forward mounting position** on the right side of the drone.&#x20;
