# Local Data

Learn how to view local surveys and datasets saved in the app.

## Motivation

* I  want to edit, upload, or delete local surveys.

## Access Local Data from the Dashboard

From the Home Screen:

1. Tap on the Menu button at the top left.
2. Select the Dashboard menu item.
3. Tap on the Local Data item under On My iPad.
4. Select the Field Points item.

The Field Points screen will display all datasets that have not been uploaded.

5. Select the dataset you want to view.

From the Details screen you can.

* Tap the top left Trash button to delete the dataset.
* Tap the Edit button to update the dataset.
* Tap the Upload button to initiate the upload process.
