# Sign in and the account menu

Activate your account, sign in, reset a forgotten password and use the account menu.

## Activate your account

When you're added to FieldAgent, look for your "Welcome to FieldAgent" email from <Support@sentera.com>. Activate your account from that email, then sign in.

#### Open FieldAgent Web

Open [fieldagent.sentera.com](https://fieldagent.sentera.com) in Google Chrome.

#### Sign in

Type the email address and password of your FieldAgent account, then click **SIGN IN**.

Click **Reset password** on the sign-in page.

#### Type your email address

The reset page opens on admin.sentera.com, the FieldAgent administration site. Type the email address you sign in with.

#### Open the reset email

Open the reset email sent to that address and follow its instructions.

## The account menu

The menu shows your name and email address, and these options:

* **Manage Account** opens the [administration site](/home/fieldagent-web/account-and-organizations/account-administration.md) in a new tab. That's where you connect partner accounts, fix field details and update your company profile.
* **Change Password** opens the change your password page of the administration site in a new tab. [Changing your password](/home/fieldagent-web/account-and-organizations/account-administration.md#change-your-password) signs you out on your other devices.
* **Help** opens the Sentera support site in a new tab.
* **Sign Out** takes you back to the sign-in page. Sign out when you've finished on a shared computer.
