# Order a mosaic

Choose the survey and products for a mosaic, and find out what to do if an order fails.

Order a [mosaic](/home/fieldagent-web/imagery/mosaics.md) from a survey you've already imported, and it's added to the field as a map layer.

## Order the mosaic

Fly the field with the mosaic flight specification, and [import the photos](/home/fieldagent-web/imagery/import-imagery-in-fieldagent-web.md) before you order. Find the settings for your sensor in the [product catalog](https://catalog.sentera.com/products).

If the field hasn't been flown yet, or someone else is flying it for you, you can [create the order first](/home/fieldagent-web/ordering/orders-and-flight-tasks.md#create-orders-before-the-flight) on the **Orders** page. You then import the photos to its flight task, and they're attached to the order.

#### Open Order Mosaics

Open the field and use the Order Mosaics button:

#### Choose the survey

Under **Select Survey**, choose the flight date to stitch. FieldAgent loads every photo of the survey before it shows the products, so wait for the loading bar to finish.

#### Choose the products

Select one or more of the [products your photos allow](https://catalog.sentera.com/products). The rest are grayed out.

#### Check the Order Summary

Check that the **Order Summary** lists every product you want to order.

#### Submit

Click **SUBMIT**.

Each order is listed on the **Orders** page with the status **PROCESSING**. Refer to this page to [follow](/home/fieldagent-web/ordering/orders-and-flight-tasks.md) your order's progress.

When the mosaic is ready, FieldAgent adds it to the field under the survey's date and emails you.

## If the order fails

An order [fails](/home/fieldagent-web/ordering/why-cant-i-order.md#the-order-failed) when the photos can't be stitched. FieldAgent emails you with a subject such as "Your Crop Health Mosaic for the … organization failed to process".

The usual cause is photo overlap below the mosaic specification. A survey flown for a stand count or canopy cover analytic is a common example, because its photos don't have any overlap.

Fly the field again to the mosaic's [flight specification](https://catalog.sentera.com/products), then order from the new survey. Ordering again on the same survey won't help.
