How to export data out of FieldAgent Desktop and Web

These instructions will walk you through on how to export out data from FieldAgent Desktop and Web

This page will walk you through on how to export out data from FieldAgent Web or FieldAgent Desktop for backup purposes.

Note: If you do not have FieldAgent Subscription to access FieldAgent please contact sales at [email protected].

Instructions for FieldAgent Desktop:

  1. Sign into FieldAgent Desktop app. If you do not have the FieldAgent Desktop app and want to download it, see link ( https://installsprod.sentera.com/fieldagent/ ).

  2. Click on the field that you want to export out data from.

  3. Click on the gear icon by the survey date under "Surveys" and click on Export.

  1. Click on browse and select the folder in which you want the data to go into or click on make new folder and select the new folder.

  1. Click the "OK" button.

  2. It will then transfer the images and mosaic's into the folder you selected.

  1. Wait for process to complete, i.e., you will get a prompt that says export complete and will show how many files were exported.

  2. Verify that the files are in the folder.

Instructions for FieldAgent Web:

  1. Login to FieldAgent Web ( https://fieldagent.sentera.com/ ).

  2. Click on the field that you want to export out the data.

  3. Click on Map Layers icon on left pane.

  4. Exporting individual images

    1. In order to export out individual images you can select photo dots on the left pane, then click on the individual photo dots and click on the download icon on each photo dot.

Note: To export out all the survey data together, including all individual images, use FieldAgent Desktop.

  1. Exporting Mosaics

    1. In order to export out the mosaic's, you would have to click on the mosaic name on the left hand pane. Then on the left hand pane scroll down to "Download Files" in which you will see diffrent data type's, i.e., TIF, etc.. and click on the download icon button on the specific data types that you need to download. This will then download to your downloads folder, in which you can then move it to the appropriate folder if needed.

  1. Exporting Stand Counts and other analytics

    1. In order to export out the Stand Count and/or other analytics, you would click on the name of the analytic on the left hand pane. Then scroll down to "Download Files" in which you should be able to download diffrent data types, i.e., GeoJSON, CSV, Shapefile, etc.. Click on the download button in order to download. This will then download to your downloads folder, in which you can then move it to the appropriate folder if needed.

Note: if you are putting this in 3rd party software and its not aligning, i.e., if you are trying to align a stand count, please consult with the 3rd party as we are not responsible for their software.

  1. Verify all the images and/or data files are downloaded to the folder specified.
