# 65R Sensor

## Firmware

Verify the sensor firmware is up to date.

{% hint style="info" %}
65R Firmware version 4.1.3 or greater is required for operation with the RTK-PPK module.
{% endhint %}

## Software Configuration

The 65R sensors require the proper software configuration to be selected for use with the RTK-PPK module. This tells the sensor which aircraft the sensor is flying on, which GPS information to use, and to log the proper data.

Use either of the following based on your aircraft model:

* IF800 - Sentera GNSS
* IF1200 - Sentera GNSS

{% hint style="info" %}
Using the proper aircraft model is important because this information is used to compute the antenna offset

### How To Change Sensor Configuration

Learn how to access the user interface and change the configuration file here:

[How To Change Configuration](/home/65r-sensor-user-guide/65r-sensor/configuration-and-settings/configuration/how-to-change-configuration.md)
{% endcontent-ref %}

{% hint style="danger" %}
If the sensor configuration is not set to the correct aircraft model and configuration the RTK-PPK system will not function properly.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="warning" %}
When using the Sentera GNSS configurations, the RTK-PPK module is required to initialize the sensor. Without the RTK-PPK module, the sensor will not get green LED indicator lights, and will not be ready to capture data.

If you intend to do non-RTK-PPK flights with the sensor, either change the config to the non-Sentera GNSS version, or fly with the module as normal.

## Inspired Flight Compatibility Settings (LEGACY)

Inspired Flight aircraft automatically detect Sentera payloads and apply the necessary parameter changes.

{% hint style="warning" %}
IGC v1.3 or greater is required for automatic payload detection. \
\
Use the compatibility settings linked below if using older versions of IGC.

# Agent Instructions: Querying This Documentation

If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter:

```
GET https://support.senterasensors.com/home/rtk-ppk-module/setup-and-installation/sentera-sensor-setup/65r-sensor.md?ask=<question>
```

The question should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
