Flight Tasks

Learn to view and flight plan from a task.

The FieldAgent platform creates tasks when a product is ordered. For more information about creating orders, see this page.

Motivation

You are assigned a flight task and must capture imagery to fulfill that task.

Steps

From the Home Screen:

Tap the menu button on the top left.
Tap on the Tasks menu item.
Select the task you want to work on.
Review the task details and tap the Fly Now button at the bottom.
Set your drone and camera using the top set of buttons.
Review the selected Flight Specifications.
Tap on Review Parameters.
Adjust the buffer and direction as necessary.
Tap Set Parameters to enter the flight planning view.

You can now execute the flight plan by pressing the Play button. If the app does not support your drone, export the flight plan as a KMZ for DJI Pilot 2.
