FAQs for Sentera Sensors
Check the configuration settings to determine whether the 6X is in DJI Skyport or Sentera GPS mode. Follow the instructions in the User Guide to confirm the configuration mode.
If the 6X is in DJI Skyport mode, test the communication between the 6X and the RC controller by pressing the photo capture button on the RC controller. The LEDs should flash white momentarily to indicate a photo has been captured.
If all of the above steps work, select a custom sensor in DJI Pilot 2 and define the 6X camera using the parameters for either the monochrome or RGB sensors. This will allow the app to compute the correct overlap for the imagery you want to capture in your mapping mission.
You can find the specifications for both the RGB and monochrome sensors in the User Guide.
If you are doing a multispectral map, use the monochrome values.
If you are doing an RGB map, use the RGB values.
You can find the custom camera option by starting a new mapping mission in DJI Pilot 2.
Tap on Select Camera
Tap on Custom Camera
Tap on +Custom Camera
Finish the configuration to have the correct parameters calculated.
If you encounter any issues during the configuration process, try the following:
Check the connections between the 6X, the drone, and the RC controller.
Ensure that the firmware of the 6X, the drone, and the RC controller is up to date.
Refer to the 6X Multispectral Sensor User Guide for more detailed troubleshooting steps.
