Learn how to connect your Trimble DA2.
Before capturing Field Points:
Trimble Mobile Manager must be running in the background.
Your DA2 must be connected via Bluetooth.
For RTK corrections, you must have an active RTK session.
I want to capture Trimble DA2 coordinates for FIeld Points.
Make sure that your DA2 is powered on and connected via Bluetooth.
If you still need to set up your DA2 and TMM app, please refer to the Trimble Documentation for details.
You will likely want to select WGS84(G1762)
for the GNSS Output Frame.
Verifying the selected reference frame and ensuring that it meets the project requirements is a critical practice.
See the Trimble Documentation for information on changing the reference frame.
Open the Trimble Mobile Manager, then:
Tap on the Home tab.
Tap on the Select button.
Tap on your Trimble DA2 in the left menu.
Tap the Connect button.
Background the app.
With TMM running in the background and your DA2 connected via Bluetooth, FieldAgent mobile can read the RTK-corrected position data.
You can start an RTK session anytime.
