### Connect Antenna to Aircraft and Module

Install the Antenna per the manufacturer instruction

### Setup & Power On R980 Base Station

Assemble the R980 base station per manufacturer instruction.&#x20;

Determine base station fix type to use and update Reference Position:

* Self-Survey for **Relative Accuracy**.
* Known location for **Global Accuracy**.

### Connect Sentera Ground Radio to R980

Connect the ground radio to the R980 using the Lemo to USB-A adapter and a USB-A to USB-C cable.&#x20;

### Power Up Aircraft&#x20;

Power the aircraft on per manufacturer instruction.&#x20;

### Verify Session Start & Fix Type

Wait for the sensor to boot and start a session. The session start on the sensor is indicated by the LEDs on the sensor being solid green.&#x20;

Verify the GPS fix type using the external LED on the module or use the camera indicator icon in the upper right-hand corner of IGC.&#x20;
